Agriculture & Livestock Exhibits

Come and see the best that Michigan has to offer in livestock, agriculture and crafting. Animals from across the Great Lakes State will be inside the Exhibit Hall, including dairy cows, beef cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits, poultry and pigs. Then head over to the agricultural area to see the best of Michigan-made products and produce and visit exhibits featuring local crafters. There will also be specialty merchants from across the country. The agriculture and livestock exhibits in the Exhibit Hall are included in both the Unlimited Ticket price and the Fair-Only Ticket price.

Detroit Shrine Circus

Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Children of all ages! This is your hometown circus, with all of the excitement and majesty of the wild. The thrills of the high wire, the taste of popcorn and hot dogs and the joy of the famous Shrine clowns. Yes, this is your circus. The Detroit Shrine Circus brings wonder, energy and happiness for young and old alike. Shows daily at 12pm, 2:30pm, 5pm and 7:30pm – no 7:30pm performance on Monday. Arnold Midway

Michigan-based Arnold Amusements will be providing all of the Midway rides and amusements for the Great Lakes State Fair. The rides that you love and the Fair food you just can’t resist will be on our fabulous Midway. Michigan Brewery Beer Garden

Did you know that Michigan is the fifth largest state in the nation in terms of the number of breweries? Come and try beers from across the state in a Beer Garden of exclusively Michigan brewed beers. Plus learn all about Michigan’s craft beer industry. The Michigan Beer Garden is located outside the Showplace, adjacent to the Entertainment Tent. The price is included in both the Unlimited Ticket price and the Fair-Only Ticket price.
